Nadeesha Chandrasena and the team of co-inventors, including Dr. Khamaruzaman Bin Wan Yusof, Dr. Zahiraniza Mustaffa, Sujeewa Kokawala, Dr. Ransirimal Fernando, Janaka Prasanna Kuruppu, and Darshana Wimukthi, obtained a patent for the technology behind the Solid Waste Clog-Resistant Smart Storm Drain.

Capabilities:

The system also serves as a Smart and Interactive Flash Flood Mitigation System, showcasing its multifunctional capabilities.

Nadeesha Chandrasena was awarded a three-month Fellowship to Singularity University at NASA Research Park, funded by a $40,000 AUD Fellowship from Google.

Nadeesha enhanced the design into the Solid Waste Clog-Resistant Smart Storm Drain during the Graduate Studies Program at Singularity University.
